Why do this?
Enhance your knowledge and expertise: become more self-aware as a cigar lover and compare your tasting skills to others’. You’ll be able to instantly see your review compared to the other consumers participating, thanks to very detailed charts. It’s like a golf score, the lower the score, the better the performance.
Recognition and Acknowledgment: You can win a prize for your expertise and contribution if you are the one who reaches the best alignment with the group consensus. The prize may rank you among the best tasters in the industry!
Total Respect of Your Privacy: We show your results anonymously, so you can clearly see where you score compared to your tasting group, but you needn’t be concerned about your results being identified by others. Your individual results are displayed with the code you receive in your confirmation email. Unless you are on top of the leaderboard, your name will never be displayed.
Personalized Recommendations: Members who complete their Cigar Sense profiles receive tailored recommendations based on their preferences, helping them discover new cigars that align with their tastes.

Are you ready?
- Log-in or sign-up for free
- Look at the consumer tasting groups that have already been created, choose one
- Get ready to taste the cigar by the end date shown next to the cigar name to be eligible to win our prize: a complimentary access to A Cigar Tasting Course! If you are not interested in winning our prize, you can submit a tasting for a cigar after the group’s end date and see how your observations compare to the rest of the group.
- Invite your friends to join the tasting group for free. The more people join, the wider the perspective you will have on other consumers’ opinions!
- Join the group of your choice and enter your observations for the specified cigar
- Once you’ve submitted your tasting observations, you’ll get a confirmation message and email guiding you to the results.

- You must be a Cigar Sense member to participate in these groups. Free members are welcome to join in too.
- You won’t be able to see any results until a minimum of participants have submitted tastings for the group.
