We are excited to share with you the first lesson on tasting fundamentals that Franca recently delivered to the students of the oeno-gastronomic atheneum of Stresa, Italy.

The lesson begins with the concept of quality, specifically organoleptic quality. It explores what tasting is, how we can distinguish subjectivity from objectivity when evaluating with our senses, and the limitations we face when trying to represent the reality of a product through our senses. The lesson also includes fun practical exercises that took the students on a journey through their senses.

We have chosen the most relevant and important topics for both future professionals who will be telling the stories of products and for the customers they will be serving.
